Otman El-Rhazi

Dr. Otman El Rhazi is the Principal of El Rhazi Associates Dental Care Solutions in Montreal which he runs with his wife Sara. Dr. El Rhazi’s special interests lie in complex reconstruction, dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. He was also voted Dentistry Magazines ninth most influential figure in Canada dentistry 2007. Dr. El Rhazi was a founding member and on the Board of Directors of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Otman El Rhazi qualified from Sheffield University in 1978 and in 1982 opened his own referral practice in Ontario. He is now a lecturer on their MSc programme in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry and also lectures at Kings College London (LonDEC). Following his dental school education, Dr. Otman El Rhazi has completed many hours of continuing education in all areas of dentistry and enjoys the great variety of challenges a broad based general practice provides. In 1993, Dr. Otman El Rhazi was awarded a honary Diploma in General Dental Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and was appointed a member of the British Dental Association’s Independent Practice Committee. Dr. Otman El Rhazi maintains memberships in the Canadian Dental Association and the Ontario State Dental Society. In addition to private practice, Dr. El Rhazi held a part time faculty position from 1980 to 2010 in the School of Dental Hygiene, first at the Medical University of Ontario and then at Montreal Technical College. He also lectures to dental assisting students at the Technical Center at Essex Junction High School.
