I have come to a point in my life wherein I know what I want and I have achieved as much as I want. But I also know that life can be twice as happy and its rewards doubled when shared with someone who regards me as important in her life as I regard her. I know that a relationship built on trust, respect, love and commitment can only lead to endless possibilities. Life is short and not perfect. Whatever happened has its reason. You cannot change the reality, but you can change yourself. I try to take lessons from my past stories and improve myself gradually. I love being around people...I am easy going, but not a pushover... I am loyal to a fault-(my friends and family will vouch for that).....I love to laugh...grace and class are qualities I admire and I believe I've got both....that being said- I do not take myself too seriously...I can laugh at myself...and I like who I am. I speak these languages: What would I like to provide? Appreciation, Respect and a Genuine Curiosity about who you are and what you are about....I pay attention, love to give affection, notice when someone does something nice-especially if it's simple. My humor is a little dry and quirky-I would get a charge out of making you laugh...I enjoy cooking- but really like to do it for and with someone special while enjoying a good bottle of wine....I am an eternal optimist- and have a really positive and happy outlook..it's contagious- you will enjoy that part of me..... someone once asked me if I could give "my people" 4 things what would they be? my answer: Peace, Compassion Courage and Gratitude.... believe in taking care of myself...physically, mentally and spiritually Life has taught me what it means to BE REAL, SHOW UP and APPRECIATE what's good......I have a lot of "good" and I recognize it. .. My turn-ons and what I’m looking for in a person: Describe what would you do for a first date: Be gentle enough to ask me. Describe the person that you might be interested in meeting: What do I want? I want someone who can make me laugh. I can hold my own in most situations, and want a woman who watches out for me anyways. I love a chivalrous woman who knows how to treat a man. I want someone who challenges me to think, inspires me to be more, and maybe even teaches me a thing or two. I want someone who can find the good in me and in themselves....I want to share some adventures...try some new things and have some fun. Today as I reflected on different things I thought of how it is to be with a really special person. How you know they are meant for you because when you think about them you can't hardly imagine them not being in your life. How they enrich your life by being a part of it and sharing in all the great experiences and things that make life really rewarding. The moments when you look forward to being with each other, which is usually quite often. The smile that is brought to your face when you think of them and how they make you feel when you are together. So grateful for the fact that after all these years and at last you are with the one you wish to spend a lifetime with. Your friend, lover and confidant. The one you can trust. My turn-offs and traits I avoid from a potential partner: The one you can be yourself and no matter what will always cherish you for who you are. The one who you admire for whatever reasons that make you so attracted to each other that you are able to listen and respect each other. They bring out the best in you and you can only feel that you want to share your passion for life with them and in everything that you do. They inspire you to be all that you can be. To bring out the very best and help you to reach your highest potential. They support you in all your endeavors and most importantly bring balance to your life so that together you have the most harmonious and enriching relationship that is possible. I
